Regent Christian Academy is part of an active community. We are sharing our 39-acre campus with Bible Fellowship Foursquare Church and the fully accredited Pacific Life Bible College.
We are located in Surrey, a multicultural, suburban city located approximately 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver.
We have just completed and occupied a new 18-room classroom complex with science and computer labs, and a new library.
Students take physical education classes in a large gymnasium that can accommodate two full-sized basketball courts. Throughout the school year R.C.A. hosts basketball and volleyball tournaments.
Our performing arts stage allows the school to present numerous music and drama productions.
A full-service cafeteria offers students hot nutritious lunches.
Our elementary students can enjoy a special area filled with play equipment adjacent to a large playing field.
Regent Christian Academy is a multicultural school with a close-knit community spirit.
School uniforms for all students promote a sense of identity and unity.
Our total enrollment is approximately 550 students (K-12). We endeavour to keep our class sizes small so that all students receive personal attention.
Teachers are able to establish positive relationships with the students which enable them to assist the students in navigating school life in a foreign country.
It is important for the parents of international students to know they are sending their children to a safe and caring environment.
At Regent we strive to expose our international students to a broad educational and cultural experience.
Students go on regular educational outings (e.g. football and hockey games, rock climbing) that show the diversity of the Greater Vancouver area and Canadian culture. They will be taken to restaurants to taste world wide cuisines.
IN THE FALL, students have an opportunity to explore the beauty of the Pacific Rim Natural Park at Tofino, Vancouver Island, as well as tour the parliament buildings in our capital city - Victoria.
IN THE WINTER, there are several trips scheduled to the world famous Whistler Mountain, the site of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, where the students ski, snowboard and or snowshoe.
IN THE SPRING, students enjoy many outings locally including canoeing, rope climbing, rock climbing, archery, cycling, swimming, hiking at Pitt Lake and a white water rafting trip on the amazing Thompson River.
